If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” - By comparison, the butterfly, while it is not mentioned in scripture, it holds so much symbolism in our lives, from new beginnings, to a renewal of the spirit, hope and life. With this sculpture, I have taken a delicate butterfly and tempered it with fire to illustrate the trials that we all experience throughout our lives.
